Back to Work
Project 14 / Motion Graphics
JAD.
Summary
JAD is a motion graphics piece I designed and animated, built frame by frame to carry a single idea with momentum and restraint.
The brief.
I wanted a short, self-directed piece that explored rhythm and type in motion; something that could hold attention without leaning on spectacle. The brief, set by me, was economy: say one thing, clearly.
What I made.
I designed and animated the full sequence, pacing the cuts to the beat and letting negative space do the work between moments. Every transition is timed by hand, and nothing moves without reason.
The result.
The finished piece runs as a tight loop that reads in a few seconds and rewards a second watch. It is a study in restraint, and a format I plan to keep developing.
